| I stay up too late, bite my nails too short, and wear my hoodies too long. I think too much, listen to my music too loud, make-up stays dark, skin stays light. I make art happen, and art happens to make me. I'm late to bed and late to rise; I'm rarely strong, never wealthy, and every once in a while, wise. I can't keep good eye contact, I rebel the facts. I question all questions, and answer all answers… until all my questions are answered, and all my answers are questioned. Imma sweet-talking convo-starter. A back-talking jay-walker. Predict me to be un-predictable. I'll dim the lights or hit the pavement if that's what it takes to make my statement. I'm street smart, and book dumb; I don't want to live on the streets, so I don't write books. Imma low maintenance child with a low tolerance level, and I'll be angelically mild up until I'm the devil. I'm co-dependently independent, and tend to re-invent what's already invented. I'm an optimistic pessimist, and a realistic literalist. Is the glass half full or half empty you'll ask, when I'm probably the one who broke the glass. I'm hormonal, dramatic, an accident-prone fanatic. I'm pretty straightforward about my arbitrary ways, and contradict contradictions that get in my way. I like to call them "hypothetical questions", when they're really not. I tend to make things more technical, just to add interest to a thought. I'm not always precise when you need precision, and I'm often in-decisive when you want a decision. I can be inconclusive when a conclusion is needed, and during heated conversation, I tend to stay seated. Imma do-good-er, and a good-do-er; except when those do-ers do me no good, and that good does nothing for me. And that's not to mention that it's pretty much my fate to have my homework, siblings, teeth, and loads of laundry usually "missing or late". My humor is sarcastic, my mood is elastic, and if you can catch my drift and it's a drift worth catching, I'll apologize in advance for my contortions of everything. I'm an expert at knowing how to not know. You can't crack my style, cause I don't go with the flow. I'm above the influence, below the crowd, behind the times, but ahead of the game. I'm the small fry in a happy meal, I'm the fruit punch in a deluxe deal. I hate politics, but love debate. I'm always on time…to be extra late. I don't read the stuff of legends from other people's lives, I'm out livin' those legends -- and am tellin' no lies. |

Frozen.Lately, it's like the world has been covered with a blank sheet of ice. If white is made up of all color, then why does it make everything seem so dull? You never knew looking up to a blank-paper-of-a-sky could affect your mood this much. It's like you want to tear it down and paint something beautiful, but your hands are tied. Like you want to breathe in something new, but in this cold, it hurts your lungs to take a breath. Honestly, it's a pain to go outside and see life for what it really is, when it's almost morbidly comfortable to just sit indoors. Just sit with yourself and your ever-surfacing misery.Frozen.
